DEEP Design Thinking Revolution (K12 & Beyond)

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

What is Design Thinking? When you ask this question, usually you either get blank stares or a bunch of long-winded malarky. Design Thinking isn’t rocket science-- it is simply a human-centered approach to learning, creating, and being through empathy. In this session, participants will go through a fast 101 introduction of Design Thinking (DT), but more importantly, they will learn that there is not just one way to screw in the proverbial DT light bulb. Participants will zero in on a K12 teacher designed and tested methodology called #DEEPdt (Discover Empathize Experiment Produce). They will also go through a DEEP Rapid Cycle where they will get their feet wet and curiosity unleashed through a methodology that can be utilized in class on Monday to revolutionize instruction and solve real-world problems through a posture of empathy, collaboration, and risk taking.

TABLES ARE FOR THE FIRST 50 PEOPLE WHO SIGNED UP. NAMES ARE LISTED OUTSIDE THE ROOM. OTHERS MAY SIT IN THE CHAIRS IN THE BACK.
