iPads and the Creative Elementary Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The iPad is a favorite device of many elementary educators for a variety of reasons: flexibility, portability, engagement, intriguing apps, and more. From digital storytelling to multimedia presentations, we will explore "evergreen" apps such as Shadow Puppet Edu, Tellagami, KomaKoma, Green Screen Do Ink, and others that increase the device's creative potential. We'll also explore "app smashing" scenarios that facilitate wonderful combinations of text, handwriting, images, audio, video and animation. Attendees will leave with tools and strategies designed to make iPad integration dynamic, immersive, and meaningful.

Please download the listed apps prior to arrival to this session.
