Democratize Innovation with Design Thinking
While we cannot predict what the future looks like, we do know that innovation and creativity are skills that our students will need for success. Seth Godin refers to these people as linchpins - individuals who are unique, who do emotional work, who are passionate about what they do, and who ultimately serving as the creative problem solvers in their communities and organizations. As the challenges and opportunities in education grow more complex, Design Thinking is a proven framework to nurture the mindsets of creative problem solvers and seekers in and out of a traditional curriculum. In this hands-on session, participants will have the opportunity to discuss ideas for how they can begin implementing a design thinking approach in their classrooms.
